PROJECTS

    wolfPACS, Senior Design Project 2007
Parking Area Coordination System: Designed to maximize the efficiency of high traffic parking lots. Based on desired destination of driver, the closest current parking space is assigned to said vehicle. Programmed in Java, divided amongst three team members.
·Constructed the framework by implementing the constructor and reader classes
·Determined space availability by allocating each space and store entrance a location, and then assessing the relative distance of available spaces

    Mechatronics, Final Project 2007
Autonomous vehicle: Designed and implemented a vehicle to follow a white line and stop before an obstacle. The controller unit was a RENESAS board, programmed in C.
·Constructed an ultrasonic transmitter/receiver pair to prevent the vehicle from hitting obstacles
·Successfully followed line using 5 infrared LEDs and sensors to determine how closely the vehicle is tracking
·Implemented a positional PID algorithm to enhance tracking

    Cruise Control, Final Project 2007
Cruise Control: Solo project using an RC car, implemented cruise control using a BX24 chip, programmed in BASICX.
